The idea for the Magic Show Singapore came from a magician in the 19th century. In 1856,  Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser, opened the ‘Salon der Magie’ in Vienna. He entertained his guests in his living room with a show called ‘An Hour of Deception’.

Hence the living (drawing) room became the theater and the audience was participating in a show only centimeters away.

Drawing Room Deceptions is a modern version of this show recreating the unique experience.
